Office regarding a medical situation on a boat on the Coast Guard Station It took a great cooperative effort between the

Guard Auxiliary, and
Boaters are advised to closely watch for the signs of carbon monoxide poisoning, which can onset suddenly without warning, and cause headaches, nausea, and severe disorientation. FLOTILLA 33 HOLDS ANNUAL CHANGE OF WATCH THURSDAY 10 DEC AT INDIAN CREEK YACHT & COUNTRY CLUB
CAPT Ted Harrop, Chief Of Boat Forces at Coast Guard Headquarters in Washington DC, thanks Flotilla 33 members for their nearly 20,000 total mission hours of support to the Coast Guard and recreational boating public year to date 2009.
BMC Matthew Welsh, Officer In Charge Coast Guard Station Milford Haven in Hudgins VA, reviews the Flotilla 33 support to Station Milford Haven. The support included 3,563 hours in marine patrols, 3,383 hours in Search & Rescue & Standby, and 598 hours in Coast Guard Operational Support. In total Flotilla 33 members have directly supported Station Milford Haven with 7,544 hours year to date 2009.

LOCAL WATER TEMPERATURES DROP BELOW 50 DEGREES
The Coast Guard requires all Active, Reserve, and Auxiliary boat crews to wear dry suits and cold weather personal protection gear when the water temperatures drop below 50 degrees.
